Plas y Brenin
Outlook's training courses are delivered by our partners at Plas y Brenin - The National Mountain Centre. Plas y Brenin is the National Mountain Centre, world renowned for the highest standards of outdoor training opportunities.
Based in the heart of Snowdonia they offer a year round programme of leadership and coaching qualifications along with technique development courses in a wide range of outdoor activities from mountain biking to canoeing, climbing to remote first aid responder. Their staff include many of the most highly qualified, and experienced outdoor professionals in the country with an unrivalled knowledge of managing risk in remote locations. The staff expertise is complimented by the best facilities and local environment all of which combine to provide a top quality learning experience.
ATOL 
We are fully ATOL protected insuring that in the very unlikely event that Outlook should become insolvent - the Civil Aviation Authority will secure our customers' investment and make sure that our expedition groups get home. Managed by the Civil Aviation Authority and Government backed, ATOL financially protects all flights and air packages sold by UK tour operators, covering over 29 million travellers each year. From the moment you pay, ATOL protects your money against the insolvency of licensed tour operators. If an ATOL tour operator stops trading, they'll refund your money. If you're on holiday, they'll bring you and your group home as planned. No worry, no expense.
LOTC
Outlook holds the new Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. The badge is awarded to those providers who have been independently assessed against strict criteria that require the delivery of high quality expeditions with effective risk management procedures and a commitment to engage in an on-going process of delivering quality learning outside of the classroom. The Expedition Providers' Association www.epa.uk.net is the awarding body and Adventure Activity Associates www.adventureactivityassociates.co.uk the contracted inspector. EPA
The Expedition Providers' Association (EPA) www.epa.uk.net was established in 2003 by companies within the youth expedition industry to develop good practice and share information. As one of the founding members of EPA, Outlook is setting the standards for the industry. Outlook has been closely involved in the production and development of the ‘EPA Standard for the Provision of Overseas Expeditions' which specifies fundamental safety, quality and financial requirements that organisations must adhere to when providing overseas expeditions to young people.
AALA
Outlook is licensed by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority to provide outdoor adventure activities to young people under the age of 18 years. Our license number is L5077/R1173.
Carbon Neutral 
We love our environment and want to do what we can to protect it, we have been carbon neutral since 2008.
DofE
Outlook is an Approved Activity Provider for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award. We have a wealth of experience of delivering DofE activities. We offer a range of destinations for our participants to undertake the Gold expedition overseas.
These are carefully planned to meet all '20 conditions' set by the DofE.
ASDAN
We are a registered ASDAN centre and are able to offer our participants the opportunity to complete the ASDAN Certificate of Personal Effectiveness (CoPE) Level 3 which enables them to earn 70 UCAS points. We also offer the ASDAN Universities' Award.
Bangor University
Outlook is working in partnership with the University of Wales, Bangor to support a 3 year PhD Research Studentship. The research will investigate the impact that Outlook's expeditions have on the participants who take part and examine the role that leadership plays in influencing the development of qualities such as self-esteem, risk management, teamwork, communication, problem-solving and leadership. The work will also enable Outlook to identify and match leaders and leadership styles to Link Teachers and teams.
Nomad
Nomad provide our expedition groups, in England and Wales, with free destination specific vaccination and health advice. Link Teachers can even arrange for a Nomad vaccination clinic to visit their school to inoculate their entire expedition group with the vaccinations required at a 10% discounted price.
Cotswold Outdoor
All of our Link Teachers receive 20% discount on purchases made at Cotswold Outdoor and our participants receive 20% off their first purchase and 15% discount on any subsequent purchases. Remote Medical Support
Our partnership with Remote Medical Support provides our teams with remote medical advice form a team of medical specialists 24/7. This means that whilst on expedition you will be able to speak to a Doctor in the UK directly if you need to.

We monitor the advice from the Foreign Commonwealth Office on all our destinations before and during expeditions.
