Camre Cymru

Our Welsh clients will no doubt be familiar with the name Camre Cymru. For anyone who isn’t familiar with it, Camre Cymru is Outlook Expeditions under its Welsh name.

Outlook Expeditions was launched and continues to be based in the heart of North Wales and works with schools and youth groups across the UK – because of this strong Welsh heritage we have 2 names, one Welsh and one English.

Camre Cymru translates roughly to ‘footsteps Wales’. The translation may not exactly be Outlook Expeditions but the ethos is the same; as a company we encourage our participants to take steps forward to broaden their horizons, widen their experiences and change their outlook.

Outlook is proud to be the only youth expedition provider to be able to offer services in Welsh. As an international company we find that it is necessary to communicate with the majority of our multilingual customers in English. We are a relatively small company, with limited resources. However we are committed to making every effort to support the Welsh language and provide the best possible service to our Welsh first language customers.
