Expedition Planners

We research, recce and plan safe, adventurous itineraries across the world!

Our first job is to visit the team and help with itinerary choices. From there on we work with in country contacts to plan the detail of the itinerary including the logistics (accommodation, transport etc), budgets and safety measures. We also work closely with colleagues to make sure the teams get the right leader and equipment.

By the time of the EDD (Expedition development day) flights will have been booked, the itinerary confirmed (pretty much!) and your leader briefed.

We continue tweak things here and there before meeting the leader team at the annual conference where we go through everything in detail and answer any questions.

Whilst teams are away we put our feet up - only joking! No we are mainly office bound in order to support the operations room, plan future recces and to continue with itinerary planning ready for the next departures!
