About David:

David became a successful entrepreneur upon retiring from the British Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2001. Since then he has been involved in founding, leading and building-up several companies based in the UK and overseas. He remains closely involved in a number of these. They span such fields of consultancy and training, together with others that focus on the development of green technologies related to renewable energy and water conservation.

Both his current work and his previous military experience as an officer in the Special Air Service (SAS) took him all over the world. As a consequence he has a great interest in travel and in other cultures. He also believes passionately in the transforming impact of the individual, and in the capacity of people to scale great heights if they just have the opportunity, self-belief and courage to stretch themselves.
 
David was appointed non-executive Chairman of Outlook’s Board of Directors in January 2009 and is charged with steering the company’s growth. He is married and has three school-age boys. He lives with his family in Wiltshire. His hobbies, when he gets the chance, include flying, diving, and hill-walking.
