Rhys is on the front line of making sure Outlook exceeds client and industry requirements. He comes from a background of co-ordinating environmental and community development projects worldwide and holds an MSc in Rural Resource Management and a HND in Fisheries Management. In 1996/7 he co-ordinated the planting of 3.5 million trees and laying of 60,000km of stone terracing in the Ethiopian Highlands, stabilising the soil for agriculture. He now consults on the management of the natural resources of Ethiopia’s Bale National Park for a project which aims to attract tourists to the area to generate sustainable income for local communities. Rhys has acted as Biodiversity Co-ordinator for Snowdonia National Park and sits on the board of Mountain Leader Training Wales (MLTW). A fluent Welsh speaker, he was born and raised in mid Wales. Rhys is a keen surfer, diver and fly fisherman and lives in North Wales with his partner Leisa and children Sion, Mabon and Martha.
