The Outlook team always love to hear from people who have been on expedition but were especially pleased to hear this week from someone who has been very much in our thoughts since half term.
During half term, one of our Link Teachers travelling with a team became unwell and a medical evacuation had to take place to get them quickly to the help they needed from doctors.
As expected the whole process went very smoothly and this week we recieved a letter thanking the Outlook team and inparticular the Outlook leader for their help in manging the situation so well. We are so happy to hear that our Link Teacher is on the road to recovery and their grit and determination to get better and 'back out there' shows the traits of a true expeditioner! Despite the adversity faced they wrote.
'It was a fantastic trip, which myself and the pupils gained a great deal from, and I hope to go on many more trips like it'
We can't wait to see them back with another team, travelling to another destination and continue to wish them well with their recovery.
