Outlook is excited to be able to announce that it has been shortlisted in the Green Business Award category of the Gwynedd Business Awards 2009!
Over the past few years we have taken significant, positive steps towards addressing the impact Outlook as an organisation has on the environment. These efforts include our decision to become a CarbonNeutral® company (the first and only youth expedition provider to do so), and our development of our unique responsible travel training programme which equips participants to monitor the environmental impact of their expeditions and encourages them to consider their environment when making decisions. Our aim is to lead the way in promoting environmental and cultural awareness through our expeditions and programmes. This nomination comes during a period of considerable environmental effort here at Outlook and will definitely spur us on in our aims!
The winner will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held at the Celtic Royal Hotel in Caernarfon on Thursday 21st May. Cross your fingers and toes for us!

We've moved to shiny new offices right next to the Menai Straight in Bangor. If you fancy taking a peek at some pictures of our new home click here and here. We haven't abandoned the Outlook Development Centre though, the UK team are still there to welcome visitors to the centre and to oversee its transformation into a new and improved training centre.
