New destinations for Outlook school expeditions

Posted on 21 / 09 / 2010

If you haven't already seen our new brochure you won't know about the exciting changes we've made for our 2012 school and youth expeditions.

In terms of destinations, following enquiries from Link Teachers last year Rwanda, Egypt and Canada have passed feasability studies and are ready to be explored by youth expedition teams - we're also of course ready to look at any other destinations you're interested in to check their suitability for school expeditions.

We've also added curriculum support and greener objectives to our school expedition tailor making options.  This means that we can build in to your expedition the chance to support work taking place at school such as effects of climate change or rainforest habitats.  What better way to enthuse students to study on their return to school than to be able to base projects on their expedition experiences!  Don't forget we also work with ASDAN to give participants the chance to earn 70 UCAS points or the Universities Award.

A Greener objectives means taking part in something that aims to support the environment such as tree planting or conservation work, we see it as a way of helping to balance out the damage that travelling can cause - every little helps.

If you haven't yet recieved a brochure and would like to know about all the other changes to our school expedition programmes please contact us on 0845 9002989.
