Outlook help Radio 1 in printer crisis

Posted on 17 / 05 / 2010

Just a standard day in the office then; arrive, say hi to everyone, Kate makes tea, check my email and Greg James and some other Radio 1 types pop in to see if they can use the printer.

Our regular blog readers will be well up to date with my friendship with Greg after my appearence on the radio last week. However I was pretty surprised when he walked in to the marketing office this morning and asked if I'd like him to do any filing.  If I hadn't crumbled in to a silly girly and very uncool red faced mess I could have got him to put some pictures in all those frames that me and Kate have been staring at for the last month.  Isn't hindsight wonderful.

Anyway, I gave him the tour, introduced him to his Outlook look-a-like Ed, made some flustered 'celebrity in your office' did I really say that stupid comments such as 'Chris controls Thailand' ('yes' replies Chris 'I control them remotely from my laptop') and put Karen on the spot justifying the conference being organised for the same time as the big weekend.

Greg and co were very nice, posed for some photos with the team and I more than happily printed out the running order for this afternoons show.  We were all pretty chuffed with our visit and some of the girls (Kate) are now a little bit in love, although I think Greg's surprise visit has just reinforced the suggestion that he probably fancies me...
