Chile
Chile might look narrow on the map but it’s far from narrow in the extremes of environment it offers. It’s full to bursting with mountains, beaches, geysers, glaciers and volcanoes. To the north you’ll encounter the driest desert in the world (complete with penguins!). Travel south for scorching sun, vineyards and greenery. Further south still and you’ll be surrounded by giant ice fields and crashing glaciers, while the towering Andes form the 3,000km Eastern border. The contrasts of Chile are extreme, and with so many fast paced activities to choose from - be it horse-trekking, sea kayaking or volcano climbing - you won’t be left wanting.
