More than words...

Schools continue to work with Outlook because they trust that we'll provide a personal service and safe expeditions that can be tailored to their requirements.  You don't have to take just our word for it though, there are plenty of people happy to shout about Outlook Expeditions; in fact over 50% of our schools have come to us based on word of mouth recommendations!

'We work with Outlook because you offer us more time at a competitive price.  Your itineraries are flexible and have been enjoyed by our students on previous expeditions.  The additional training for staff in locations abroad has been greatly valued.

Most importantly, the quality of communication between ourselves and your company has been consistently excellent and we have felt that our needs and preferences have been your priority'.

'Having used other providers, we have really enjoyed working with Outlook over several years.  Communication is good at all levels - there is a willingness to find solutions to any problem that might arise and we can be confident that our pupils will be stretched and have a good time in equal measure'.

Hugo Petzch, Benenden School

'I have many plans for the next couple of years but eventually I would love to try out for a job in the outdoors, especially with Outlook Expeditions. It gave me such a fantastic experience and i'd want to do the same for others and inspire them like i was inspired'.

'100% the best 3 weeks of my life. The only negative is that it wasn't longer. I didn't want to come home. I loved it so much. It changed my life and I now have the most amazing friends who are like a wonderful extended family'.

'Best time of my life (cliché I know, but it's true!)'

'I took a school group to Sarawak in southern Borneo during July/August this year and we had an amazing time. I found the support and training for both my students and me in the run up to the exped as well as during it was excellent - so good that we've now got an exped going to Morocco this summer! We had a custom itinerary put together for us because we had our own very specific aims (we wanted to work in an orang-utan sanctuary and also help in a school) and were lucky enough to have Megan for our contact at Outlook (and she is, to put it simply, fantastic - any problem I had I knew that she would get it sorted quickly and without a fuss). I can't recommend Outlook highly enough - thanks guys!'

'Being a part of an Outlook Expeditions trip is more than just a 4 week long 'holiday'. It has a far greater positive impact on your life and I'm sure the experiences I gained there will stay with me for a long long time. It's the best thing I've ever done. Thank you Outlook!'

Stephanie Donaghey

'Since deciding to go to Zambia this year, I've learned a lot with making the money myself, rather than relying on parents etc, so it aint just life shockers once you're there but you learn life lessons along the way'

'Heather became very anxious shortly before departing and was considering pulling out.  Emily (EPC) had a very friendly and encouraging chat to Heather who then developed a very positive attitude and went on to achieve all she had hoped to.'

Jennifer Marsh, parent

'From the very first meeting we felt like Outlook was a good company and had high expectations.  The obvious teamwork and extremely good communication set you apart from similar companies.  It was however, the service from the Operations room which really exceeded our expectations.'

Mrs Hegarty, parent

'One week before we were due to fly Outlook had to break the news to us that there had been a military coup in Honduras. Within 24 hours they managed to organise another trip, another itinerary, more injections and meetings with the students and parents. Outlook set the fantastic example of a company that really does what it says on the tin. They really do care about the experiences that they are able to give young people and will work round the clock to ensure they fulfill their promise to them'.

Liz Maher, Link Teacher

'Just want to thank everyone at Outlook who helped the expedition run so smoothly. I had the most amazing time, and I'm so pleased to have had the opportunity to do something so inspiring. Our Expedition Leader was brilliant. The right balance between fun and fair. We couldn't have asked for a better leader'

Megan Holt, Participant

'I definitely believe that the expedition helped me with university. It really stood out on my personal statement and I think it lead me to the extra offer of studying abroad in my second year. The expedition changed my outlook on life in the sense that achieving one particular goal isn't always everything - it's the journey and the people you meet along the way that really make it'.

Jessica Adams, Participant

'Every time I phone, every time I write, every time I worry, Outlook are there to offer the training, support, advice, and a funny story. You just have to sit next to some of the staff from Outlook to realise they have seen things you can only hope to see, eaten foods your taste buds can only dream of, and been in most of the scrapes that they are warning you about on the first aid course. These guys and gals have seen it, continue to see it, learn from what they have seen, and want you to do the same!'
