Good Expedition Leaders are essential for Outlook Expeditions to provide the quality expeditions with which we have become renowned for.  This is why we recognise each and every one as an individual, find ways to develop them that suits them and treat them as members of Outlook staff.

You may have led expeditions before and want to apply to lead with Outlook or you may just want to learn more about what being an Expedition Leader entails and how we can help you on your journey to becoming a leader.  Either way you are in the right section of the website!

Leading expeditions is more than taking a group overseas.  It's about developing, challenging, exploring and above all keeping a group of young people safe in environments that may be completely alien to them.  The rewards for the team are immense, yet many of these rewards are what make the job so important and worthwhile to the leader.  As well as a job with an opportunity to explore the world you also get to see young people in your care mature and gain new skills and confidence in front of your eyes.
