The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award

Outlook is an accredited Award Access Organisation and we work with groups on the expedition section of Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards – vastly reducing the time burden on schools of running a large Duke of Edinburgh’s Award school programme. 

Groups of between 4-7 participants work together and Outlook instructors will mentor, train and supervise them through training days, practice expeditions and the assessment expedition.  Programmes can be designed to compliment existing training schemes within schools or organisations or take participants through the whole process.  Based in the mountains, Outlook has a vast amount of experience operating in Snowdonia and Anglesey as well as other wild country areas in the UK.

In October 2007, Outlook acted as technical advisors to The Award in Wales’ Adventure Race, handling all logistics and activities.
