Snowdonia Summer Camps

The 5 day Summer Adventure Camp offers secondary school students (age 12-17) the unique opportunity to combine learning and action-packed adventure in the heart of the picturesque Snowdonia National Park.

Our Summer Camps are based at the Llyn Gwynant Campsite at the foot of Snowdon.  The site is blessed with mountains, rivers and lakes literally on its doorstep and the sea is but a short journey away.  Students camp in tents but they also benefit from having access to large barns and marquees to eat and relax in.

During the day, students participate in adventure activities including: rock climbing, abseiling, mountain walking, gorge walking, coasteering, canoeing, improvised rafting, overnight expeditions and team & initiative tasks.

We are able to cater for 50-200 students per camp. The following are included as part of the price:

  • All tuition and instruction by fully qualified staff
  • Programme includes evening activities
  • One free teacher place per 10 students
  • Food & camping, accommodation - including barns and marquee
  • All specialist equipment including camping equipment & waterproofs
  • All transport (excluding to and from Snowdonia)
  • All relevant insurances

Itineraries and activity choices are finalised in consultation with the school.  All instructors hold current N.G.B. qualifications relevant to the activities they deliver as well as being fully qualified in first aid and CRB (enhanced disclosure) checked.
