The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award; Overseas Destinations

Outlook has registered four destinations and routes with the DofE that are considered to be suitable treks that will allow a trek plan to conform to the DofE's expedition '20 Conditions'. 

Morocco:

Embark on a trek in the High Atlas Mountains. Take in fantastic views and experience Moroccan culture in the Berber villages.

Peru:

After incorporating orientation in Cusco and exploring the Inca ruins of Machu Picchu, your route will take you into the Andes - an inspirational experience for a DofE expedition!

Norway:

Start off on the Jotenheim Plateau, moving through fantastic mountain scenery right in the wilds of Norway.

Malawi:

Take on a six day trek through the high Mulanje Mountains from Fort Lister Gap in the North East to Likhubula in the South West.

 Should an expedition destination not be one of Outlook's approved destinations with the DofE, Outlook will assess the feasibility of whether the proposed destination can sustain a qualifying venture and meet the needs of the '20 Conditions'.
