After graduating from Bangor University, Nigel began his career with KPMG in Manchester, and after finishing his training he moved overseas to manage the KPMG office in The Gambia.
Having caught the travel bug Nigel then joined the Middle East and North Africa Division of the Coca Cola Company where he managed the finance teams in over 20 countries.
On returning to the UK Nigel worked with a number of businesses as Finance Director before eventually joining the Board of World Challenge in 2003. During his time at World Challenge, Nigel led the company through growth and international development to a management buyout and the sale to Tui Travel in 2008.
In 2011 Nigel left the corporate world behind, but continued his focus on education and in particular the provision of outdoor learning opportunities. He became Chairman of a portfolio of small businesses focused on the Education sector and in 2014 went full circle, returning to Bangor to become the Managing Director of Outlook.
Away from work Nigel is also the Chairman of the Board of Governors at Upton Court Grammar School and Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Upton Court Educational Trust. Nigel has two daughters and spends time coaching their local girls football team.
