Student development is at the core of our expeditions and we encourage every member of the team to get involved and put their stamp on the expedition.
We start by working with the Link Teacher to choose the ideal itinerary from our full library of Expedition Guides.
During our Itinerary Development Session, each expedition team will be asked to take ownership of their itinerary, allowing them to finalise the options available with guidance from a member of Outlook staff.
The choices may include the project they work with, the challenge level and type of trek they wish to undertake and where they want to go for some rest and relaxation!
If the school has chosen fixed itinerary options, the students will spend time researching the destination and logistics of their expedition during the Itinerary Development Session.
"I took a school group to Sarawak in southern Borneo. We had a custom itinerary put together for us because we had our own very specific aims - we wanted to work in an orang-utan sanctuary and also help in a school - I can't recommend Outlook highly enough - thanks guys!"
