Here are the simple steps.
If you haven't already attended an Parents Information Evening then make sure to find out what date it will be held in your school. The Information Evening usually lasts around 1 hour, including time for questions, and will be facilitated by one of our Regional Associates - these are some of our Expedition Leaders who know exactly what an Outlook expedition is like first hand.
The evening will feature a presentation throughout which you will get to see lots of images from the destination and itinerary that is on offer to you, along with videos about our expeditions. Your facilitator will also talk you through the itinerary and tell you about the destination, the value of an Outlook expedition, fundraising and if they have been to that particular destination themselves they will be sure to have a great anecdote or two!
At the Information Evening you will receive an Expedition Guide detailing your itinerary that you can take home to help you decide whether you want to join the expedition or not. There will also be a copy of our Parents and Participants Guide which will hopefully answer any concerns that you may have.
Use the Information Evening to ask any questions you may have - your Regional Associate knows Outlook very well and should be able to answer your questions. If you feel like you need to know more about the expedition opportunity after the Information Evening then you can contact us online or you can call our Customer Support Team between 9am and 5.30pm Monday to Friday on 01248 672760
If you have decided that you want to join the expedition then all you have to do is head along to Basecamp, our online portal, and sign up using the Expedition Reference number you will be given at the Information Evening. It is quite simple to fill out the form but if you have any problems our Customer Support Team are available to help.
